President Erdoğan Holds Talks with President of Guinea Bissau: Key Topics Discussed
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan recently held a meeting with the President of Guinea Bissau, Umaro Sisoco Embalo. The meeting took place at the Dolmabahçe Working Office of the Presidency, where Embalo was welcomed with an official ceremony. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, AK Party Deputy Chairman Omer Celik, and other officials were also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed various issues including bilateral relations between Turkey and Guinea Bissau, as well as regional and global developments. President Erdogan emphasized the efforts to increase trade between the two countries and expressed satisfaction with Turkey’s relations with Africa in recent years.
One of the key topics of discussion was the situation in Gaza, with President Erdogan condemning Israel for the continued massacre of civilian people. He called on the international community to increase pressure on the Netanyahu administration and stated that Turkey is working towards the re-establishment of a ceasefire.
President Erdogan’s strong stance on these issues reflects Turkey’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region. The meeting concluded with both leaders attending an iftar dinner together.
