President Erdogan Thanks Party Member Following Campaign Rally
President Erdogan recently expressed his appreciation for Hüseyin Bayraktar, a party member who experienced difficulty climbing stairs at recent campaign rallies. After returning from rallies in Kırklareli, Edirne, and Tekirdağ, President Erdogan met Bayraktar on the plane and promised to hold those responsible accountable on election day.
President Erdogan was quoted as saying, “We didn’t do this so that my uncles Hussein would walk like that. Although they didn’t take you up those escalators, you still managed to climb those stairs.”
In response, Bayraktar expressed his support for the President and his commitment to serving the country. He also invited President Erdogan to his home, but the President respectfully declined, instead focusing on the upcoming election.
Despite his busy schedule, President Erdogan took the time to offer words of encouragement to a member of his party.
