
President Erdoğan: Turkey’s Determination to Reach our Goal

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and his children on April 23rd in honor of National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan emphasized that April 23 is not only a special day for children but also a celebration of national will. He encouraged the children to be happy and work towards building a more prosperous country. President Erdoğan highlighted the progress Turkey has made and expressed his determination to continue working towards achieving the country’s goals.
In another development, Ipek Vera Yolcu, who was present in the presidential seat on April 23rd, addressed questions from journalists. One of the questions raised was about the lack of suitable parks for children under 3 years of age. In response, Ipek Vera Yolcu mentioned that initiatives will be taken to create parking spaces dedicated to young children. Additionally, Ipek Vera Yolcu discussed the need for age restrictions on social media platforms.
Meanwhile, Minister of Interior Affairs Ali Yerlikaya provided an update on the recent earthquake that hit Istanbul. The earthquake lasted for 13 seconds and was followed by 51 aftershocks. Minister Yerlikaya confirmed that all relevant teams have been mobilized to assess the situation and that no negative reports have been received so far.
The earthquake in Istanbul has caused concern among residents, with reports of tremors being felt in Silivri. Authorities from AFAD and Kandilli have been monitoring the situation closely and providing updates to the public. Efforts are underway to ensure the safety and well-being of the affected areas.
