Mongolian President U.Khurelsukh to Visit Czech Republic in 2025
President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh is set to embark on a state visit to the Czech Republic from March 9 to 12, 2025, following an invitation from Czech President Petr Pavel. This significant visit is in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Czech Republic, and it marks the first time in a decade that a Mongolian President will visit the European nation.
During his visit, President U.Khurelsukh will engage in a series of meetings and negotiations with President Petr Pavel, as well as with the Speaker of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic. The agenda includes the signing of intergovernmental agreements and cooperation documents in various areas such as education, environment, agriculture, sports, and law, aiming to strengthen the long-standing friendly ties between the two countries.
Additionally, a concert by the Fiddle Orchestra and a business forum will take place in Prague during the visit, providing opportunities for cultural exchange and economic dialogue. Furthermore, an international exhibition titled “Genghis Khan” will open at the Czech National Museum, showcasing the rich history and heritage of Mongolia.
The upcoming state visit by President U.Khurelsukh underscores the commitment of Mongolia and the Czech Republic to deepening their bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for cooperation. It is expected to further enhance the mutual understanding and friendship between the two nations.
