President Sakallı and Board Members Visit BRTK
Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation Employees Union (Bay-Sen) President Salih Sakallı and members of the Board of Directors have been making courtesy visits to various officials.
The Bay-Sen delegation first visited Tufan Erhürman, Chairman of the Republican Turkish Party, where Sakallı highlighted the importance of a new law work at BRT and requested support from Erhürman. Erhürman acknowledged the long-standing problems at BRT and emphasized the need for immediate solutions to improve the motivation and working conditions for employees.
Following this, the Bay-Sen delegation visited Labor and Social Security Minister Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, who emphasized the crucial role that BRT plays in representing the Turkish Cypriot people to the world. He stressed the importance of responsible broadcasting and informed the delegation that BRT continues its mission of being the voice of the Turkish Cypriot community.
