
President Tatar and Turkish Students Association Welcomed by BRTK

President Ersin Tatar recently met with the President of the Turkish Cypriot Students Association and its members, along with the President of Turkey. During the meeting, President Tatar highlighted the significance of unity and solidarity among Turkish Cypriot students studying in Turkey. He expressed his belief that the union of Turkish Cypriots would enhance togetherness and contribute positively to social and cultural activities.
President Tatar praised the Turkish Cypriot students for their involvement in various social activities, stating that their collective efforts would have a significant impact on society. He commended the newly established association as a platform for fostering friendships, promoting solidarity, and providing support to one another.
Emphasizing the importance of teamwork, President Tatar shared his own experiences with the young people, offering insights from his time abroad. He emphasized that the association would strengthen unity and solidarity among Turkish Cypriot students, as well as promote social interaction and engagement.
In response, Doğuş Ertoprak, the President of the Turkish Cypriot Students Association, briefed President Tatar on the association’s vision, mission, and activities. Despite being a recent establishment in 2023, Ertoprak highlighted that the association already had over 700 members and had organized various activities to promote the unity and solidarity of Turkish Cypriot students in Turkey.
Moving forward, Ertoprak expressed the association’s commitment to growth, development, and achievement of broader goals. The Turkish Cypriot Students Association aims to continue expanding its reach and impact, with a focus on fostering unity and solidarity among Turkish Cypriot students studying in the Republic of Turkey. President Tatar congratulated the young members on their success and wished them continued success in their endeavors.
