
President Tatar calls for increased commercial cooperation between two states

President Ersin Tatar attended the opening of the Union Meeting of Denizli Tradesmen and Craftsmen Chambers, emphasizing the importance of strong relations between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the Republic of Turkey.
During his speech, President Tatar highlighted the historical significance of the Cyprus Peace Operation carried out by the Republic of Turkey with the right to guarantee from the establishment and alliance treaties of 1960. He also emphasized the importance of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus having rights in both the land and sea areas, particularly in Mavi and Gökvatan.
President Tatar reaffirmed that the Turkish Cypriot people are an integral part of the greater Turkish nation, possessing a rich cultural and historical heritage. He also noted the importance of strengthening institutions and organizations in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus through collaboration with Turkey.
Furthermore, President Tatar underscored the need for economic growth in various sectors such as tourism, higher education, agriculture, and industry in Northern Cyprus. He encouraged investments and support from Turkish business people to stimulate development in the region.
President Tatar expressed optimism about the potential for cooperation between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of heartfelt unity and mutual understanding in addition to trade partnerships. He concluded his speech by calling for joint efforts to achieve common goals and strengthen the bond between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey.
