President Tatar Engages with Business and Civil Society Representatives in Sakarya
President Ersin Tatar Visits Sakarya to Strengthen Business Relationships
President Ersin Tatar recently met with business people who are members of the Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as civil society representatives in Sakarya. The meeting, organized by Ali İnci, President of the 15 July National Will Association and Sakarya Deputy, aimed to foster cooperation between businesses in both countries.
During the meeting, İnci expressed his gratitude to President Tatar for taking the time to visit Sakarya and emphasized the importance of continuing to work together to develop partnerships. Sakarya Governor Yaşar Karadeniz also thanked President Tatar for his visit, highlighting the significance of the day for the province.
President Tatar, in turn, expressed his pleasure at meeting with Cyprus veterans, officials, business people, and civil society representatives in Sakarya. He spoke about the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Peace Operation and underscored the importance of the Turkish Cypriot people’s fight for independence and freedom.
Tatar emphasized that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has made significant progress in various sectors, including tourism, education, industry, and agriculture. He encouraged investors from Sakarya to consider opportunities for investment, cooperation, and partnerships in the country.
Furthermore, President Tatar announced new regulations regarding the purchase of goods by foreigners in the TRNC and invited people from Sakarya to explore investment opportunities in the region. He reassured them that TRNC is open for tourism, education, and business partnerships.
President Tatar also reflected on the historical significance of the Cyprus Peace Operation and the establishment of the TRNC, highlighting the ongoing support of the Republic of Turkey and Turkish states in strengthening the nation.
