President Ersin Tatar Meets with British Limassol Association Delegation
President Ersin Tatar recently received and met with the delegation of the British Limassol Association, headed by Arife Rıdvan. The meeting was an opportunity for Tatar to emphasize the importance of the support given by Turkish Cypriots living in England to the Cyprus national cause. He also expressed his well wishes for the success of the association’s management in their work.
During his speech at the reception, Tatar highlighted the unity and solidarity of Turkish Cypriots living in England, stating that they are fully engaged in the activities carried out by the association. He also expressed his appreciation for the work being done by the association.
Drawing from his own experience of living in England, Tatar emphasized that the hearts of Turkish Cypriots living in the UK are always with their homeland, both in difficult and joyful times. He pledged to continue working to strengthen the strong ties between the two communities.
The reception was attended by the Presidency Foreign Press Officer Kerem Haser, adding to the significance of the meeting. The event served as a reminder of the enduring connection and support between Turkish Cypriots abroad and Cyprus, showcasing the importance of maintaining strong bonds despite geographical distance.
