President Ersin Tatar Strengthens Relations with MUSIAD During Meeting
President Ersin Tatar recently met with MUSIAD Gebze Branch President Abdulkadir Kanık and board members to discuss various issues of mutual interest. During the meeting, President Tatar expressed his pleasure in receiving MUSIAD and wished them success in their work.
Highlighting the significance of MÜSİAD as one of the comprehensive institutions of Turkey, President Tatar expressed his pride in being a part of this large family. He emphasized the importance of developing economic, political, and even social and cultural relations with MÜSİAD.
President Tatar reaffirmed the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’s position as a Turkish state in the Eastern Mediterranean and stressed the importance of cooperating with MÜSİAD on various issues to capitalize on opportunities.
Regarding the two-state solution, President Tatar underlined the will of the Turkish Cypriot people and emphasized the importance of Motherland Turkey’s guarantorship and the presence of Turkish soldiers on the island as indispensable red lines for the Turkish Cypriot people.
President Tatar also referenced the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Peace Operation on July 20, where the message that Cyprus is a “national cause” for Turkey was conveyed.
Referring to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s description of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as the “apple of the eye,” President Tatar emphasized Turkey’s full support for the TRNC’s struggle.
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the people of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, President Tatar thanked MUSIAD for their support in making the TRNC visible, amplifying its voice, and securing its rightful place in the international community.
Abdulkadir Kanık, the President of MUSIAD Gebze Branch, expressed satisfaction with the meeting and provided insight into their ongoing work.
