President Tatar meets with Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry
President Ersin Tatar recently met with the management of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry, led by Ali Kamacı. During the meeting, President Tatar expressed his appreciation for the industrialists who have continued to prioritize production and industry despite the political and economic challenges faced by the country.
President Tatar emphasized the importance of investments in creating brand value for the country’s economy and production. He also highlighted the potential for import substitution and export growth through maintaining quality and standards to achieve competitiveness, which in turn contributes to employment and added value.
In addition, President Tatar discussed the opportunities for marketing and selling industrial products internationally, particularly with Southern Cyprus and the European Union under the Green Line Regulation. He assured that his presidency is committed to overcoming any obstacles that arise in this context.
Looking ahead, President Tatar expressed his belief in the future growth of the industrial sector, particularly with the anticipated increase in tourism activities, higher education, construction projects, R&D initiatives, and new investments. He stressed the importance of supporting and promoting local industrialists and producers to ensure their continued success within a competitive market.
