President Ersin Tatar Holds Meeting with YÖDAK President
President Ersin Tatar recently met with the President of the Higher Education Planning, Supervision, Accreditation and Coordination Board (YÖDAK), Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın, to discuss the progress of higher education in the TRNC.
During the meeting, President Tatar was briefed on the work being carried out by YÖDAK by Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın. President Tatar emphasized the importance of effectively structuring and developing higher education in the TRNC and expressed his support for continuing these efforts efficiently.
Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın also provided an update on the information system studies that have been initiated to streamline the registration process for TRNC and foreign students. With the new system, various student-related procedures such as admissions, registration, and graduation, as well as faculty information, will be overseen by YÖDAK.
Hocanın highlighted the collaboration between YÖDAK and the Ministry of National Education, emphasizing the technical support provided by YÖK to overcome any challenges. He assured that rapid progress is being made towards establishing a reliable system in the field of higher education.
