President Ersin Tatar commends musicians for song honoring İsias cause
President Ersin Tatar recently met with musicians who composed the song “İsias Common Cause” and expressed his appreciation for their work. The President highlighted the significance of February 6 as a day of deep mourning that should never be forgotten.
In a statement issued by the Presidency, President Tatar congratulated the musicians behind the song “Our Common Cause for İsias” and shared that he was deeply moved upon watching the accompanying music video. He also extended an invitation to the musicians to collaborate on similar projects with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra.
During the meeting, President Tatar emphasized that the memory of the Champion Angels lost in the February 6 earthquake would always be honored. He pledged support for all efforts related to the İsias cause and commended everyone involved in the creation and release of the song.
The lyrics for “İsias Our Common Cause” were penned by Seren Coşaner and Sait Coşaner, with music composed by Seren Coşaner. The song was performed by the Sonare Choir under the direction of Erkan Dağlı, with Seren Coşaner also contributing to the musical performance.
The music video for the song was filmed at the Famagusta Rauf Raif Denktaş Congress Center in partnership with BRT. President Tatar’s support for the musicians and their efforts underscores the importance of recognizing and honoring the İsias cause.
