President Ersin Tatar Welcomes Disabled Sports Federation
In a significant meeting held recently, President Ersin Tatar received Ahmet Akdeniz, the President of the Sports Federation for the Disabled. The engagement focused on the federation’s achievements and ongoing efforts to promote sports among individuals with disabilities.
During his address, President Tatar expressed his admiration for the federation’s accomplishments, stating, "Your success is our success. These studies on behalf of the TRNC are very important for contemporary values." He underscored the importance of inclusivity in sports, asserting, “Doing sports is a right,” and highlighted that the federation’s work is crucial for fostering human values and enhancing international representation.
President Tatar also took the opportunity to discuss the new Presidential building, noting that it symbolizes freedom and independence for the TRNC. He expressed joy at welcoming the basketball team to this new facility, emphasizing its role as a space for community engagement.
