President Tatar’s acceptance of Uksin Prizen University approved by BRTK
President Ersin Tatar of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus recently welcomed Uksin Prizen University Rector Assoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani. The meeting, which took place at the Presidency, focused on the importance of collaboration between the two institutions.
During the reception, President Tatar expressed his gratitude for the visit and emphasized the significance of partnering with the Near East University, a key academic institution in the TRNC. He expressed hope that the collaboration would be mutually beneficial for both universities.
President Tatar also extended his warm regards to the people of Kosovo, highlighting the importance of strengthening ties between the two nations. He emphasized the need to amplify the voice of the TRNC people on the international stage, underscoring the importance of fostering stronger relationships.
In reference to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s recent address at the United Nations General Assembly, President Tatar reiterated Erdoğan’s call for bolstering economic, diplomatic, and political connections with the TRNC. He noted the significance of such visits in advancing the interests of the Turkish Cypriot people.
