US President Trump Vows to Make Fair Trade Agreements with China and EU
In a recent press briefing at the White House, US President Trump addressed the issue of tariffs and trade agreements with China, the European Union, and other countries. Trump declared that the United States will no longer be taken advantage of in trade deals and will put an end to losing money from trade.
“We are actively negotiating with many countries to create fair customs and trade agreements that will benefit both the US and our trading partners,” Trump stated during the briefing. The President’s softened tone towards Jerome Powell, President of the US Federal Reserve, and China in recent days has sparked positive reactions in the markets.
