Prime Minister Üstel Applauds the Success of ‘Autumn’ Operation
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has commended the efforts of the Narcotics and Security Directorate of the General Directorate of Police for their successful “Autumn” operation in Famagusta, where 2 kilos of methamphetamine type drugs were seized.
In a statement released by Üstel, he expressed gratitude to all security forces and police officers involved in the operation for their dedication in protecting the youth from the harms of drugs.
The operation, which was carried out by the Narcotics and Anti-Smuggling Department, has effectively removed a significant quantity of drugs from circulation, contributing to efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
Üstel’s statement highlights the importance of such operations in safeguarding the community from the dangers of drug abuse, and emphasizes the government’s commitment to tackling the issue through cooperation with law enforcement agencies.
