
Prime Minister Üstel credits Mr. Erdoğan for strengthening Turkey’s power.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) recently attended the official ceremony held at the Presidency for the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. During the visit, the two leaders discussed important issues, including the two-state solution on Cyprus, new investments in the TRNC and upcoming projects.
Üstel expressed his gratitude to President Erdoğan for his support of the Turkish Cypriot people and their country. He noted that Erdoğan’s recent speech offered full support for all the visions and projects presented by the TRNC, adding that this support was crucial for their better future.
During the meeting, Üstel confirmed that the TRNC’s new airport will open on July 20 and that the project to bring electricity via a two-way cable from Turkey will begin soon. The foundation for the new 500-bed Nicosia Hospital will also be laid, and there will be further development in road projects, social housing projects and water projects.
Üstel emphasized that Turkey’s support and power were vital for the TRNC and that the two countries must continue to strengthen their cooperation for future success. He thanked President Erdoğan personally and on behalf of the TRNC people for his visits and support and wished him a safe journey after the visit.
The TRNC Prime Minister’s meeting with President Erdoğan highlighted the importance of mutual respect, love and trust for the continued growth and prosperity of the Turkish Cypriot people and their country.
