Prince William’s Birthday Prep Causes Scary Moment as Someone Faints from the Heat

Prince William’s birthday ceremony rehearsal was marked by interesting events as one of the guards playing the trumpet fainted due to the high temperature in St James’s Park in London, England. The paramedics immediately rushed to help the guard who was then taken to a stretcher. Prince William expressed his gratitude to all the soldiers who attended the ceremony despite the difficult conditions, “Thank you very much for every soldier who attended the ceremony this morning at this temperature. The conditions are very difficult, but you all did a good job.”
In other news, Prince Harry made history as the first member of the British Royal Family in 130 years to appear before a judge as a witness. He testified in a compensation lawsuit that he filed against three publishers for wiretapping and illegally collecting private information. The London High Court case saw Prince Harry giving 50 pages of written testimony, cross-examined by MGN’s attorney, Andrew Green.
Prince Harry expressed how he felt towards the press, saying that the stories he believed had stemmed from the hacking not only raised security concerns but also damaged their relationship. He accused the media of “coming together to protect each other” and “turning a blind eye to the events in order to keep them going.”
The hearing lasted for five hours, after which Prince Harry resumed his testimony the following day. He requested that 140 articles between 1996 and 2010 that contained illegally compiled information and that 33 of them should be examined in the Supreme Court. Green apologized personally to Harry on behalf of MGN for an incident in which he admitted collecting illegal information and denied that the journalists’ actions were “completely illegal.”
