Prisoners Killed in Israeli Attack Urge Ceasefire from Netanyahu
Two Israeli prisoners held by Hamas blame Netanyahu for their situation
Two Israeli prisoners, Alexander Lobanov and Carmel Gat, whose bodies were found on September 1, held the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for their dire situation in a video released by the Qassam Brigades on Telegram.
Lobanov, who was abducted from the Reim region on October 7, described the harsh conditions they were held in, stating they were deprived of basic necessities like water, food, electricity, and cleaning products. He appealed to the Netanyahu government, accusing them of neglect and failure to secure their release alive.
Expressing concern for his pregnant wife, two-year-old son, and sick parents left behind, Lobanov called on the Israeli people to protest against the current administration and demand action.
Meanwhile, Carmel Gat, who was taken captive with her family, highlighted the ongoing Israeli attacks and the uncertainty of their survival amidst the bombardment. She pleaded with the Israeli government to intervene, stop the attacks, and facilitate their return home.
Gat urged the Israeli populace to continue protesting and advocating for their release, ensuring that negotiations remain open and accessible. The conflicting narratives surrounding the prisoners’ deaths – with Hamas attributing it to Israeli attacks and Israel blaming Hamas – further complicate the tragic situation.
