MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli Resumes Duties After Surgery
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli made his return to work today after undergoing heart valve surgery on February 6. To mark the occasion, Bahceli visited the grave of Alparslan Türkeş, the founding President of Turkey, on the anniversary of his death.
Bahceli was warmly welcomed by members of his party outside the headquarters building, where he was greeted with showers of carnations. The MHP leader also participated in the opening of the Türkiye Alparslan Türkeş Political Academy Foundation’s new service building.
After visiting Türkeş’s grave, Bahceli headed to the party’s headquarters to resume his duties. He had been hospitalized on February 4 for treatment related to his heart valve.
Despite his recent health issues, Bahceli remains in good spirits and is expected to return to his daily life shortly. In a statement released by the MHP, they reassured the public that Bahceli is resting in his room and is on the path to a speedy recovery.
During his phone call with journalists Göksu Özgeren Güngör, Özlem Gürses, Nazlı Çelik, and Didem Arslan Yılmaz, Bahceli expressed his gratitude for the support and well wishes he has received during his recovery.
As Bahceli resumes his duties as MHP Chairman, his dedication to the party and its principles remains unwavering. His presence and leadership are vital as the party continues to navigate the political landscape in Turkey.
