Qatar Airways Now Offering Daily Budapest Flights with Dreamliner
Qatar Airways to Introduce Daily Dreamliner Flights Between Doha and Budapest
Starting on 1st May, Qatar Airways will be launching daily flights between Doha and Budapest, utilizing Boeing 787-8 aircraft for the route. These Dreamliner flights are scheduled to run until the end of the summer schedule on 26th October, replacing the previously used Airbus A320-200s.
According to Airportal.hu, Qatar Airways will be offering flights between Doha and Budapest on different schedules throughout the week. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, flights will depart Doha at 02.25 a.m. local time, arriving in Budapest at 07.05 a.m. Return flights from Budapest will depart at 10.20 a.m. and land in Doha at 4.40 p.m. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, departures from Doha will be at 09.10 a.m. local time, with arrival in Budapest scheduled for 1.50 p.m. Return flights from Budapest will depart at 4.05 p.m. and reach Doha at 10.25 p.m. These flights will be operated by Boeing 787-8 aircraft, offering 254 seats in total, with 22 in business class and 232 in economy class.
The Dreamliner aircraft provides a comfortable experience for passengers, with business class seats that can fully convert into horizontal beds. In economy class, passengers can enjoy the Oryx in-flight entertainment system on touchscreen monitors. The Dreamliner also offers lower cabin pressure and higher humidity levels, similar to lower altitudes, to reduce stress during long-haul flights.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, known for its fuel efficiency and use of composite materials, has been a game-changer in the aviation industry since its inception. The development and production of the Dreamliner involved collaboration with suppliers worldwide, with the first flight taking place in 2009. LOT Polish Airlines was the first European carrier to purchase the Dreamliner, leading to Airbus developing its competitor, the Airbus A350.
