Qazaq Air Introduces Affordable Flights to Turkistan from January

Qazaq Air launches subsidized flights from Kostanai and Karagandy to Turkistan, Kazakhstan

ASTANA – Qazaq Air, Kazakhstan’s airline, has officially started subsidized flights on the Kostanai – Turkistan route as of Jan. 4. Additionally, the airline will be introducing subsidized flights from Karagandy to Turkistan starting on Jan. 13.

The Kazakh Transport Ministry has announced that flights from Astana to Turkistan are also scheduled to commence on Jan. 13.

Flights between Kostanai and Turkistan will operate twice a week, specifically on Mondays and Saturdays. Passengers can avail of these socially relevant flights at a cost of 31,000 tenge (US$58.95) for a one-way ticket.

For the Karagandy – Turkistan route, flights will be available twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. The price for subsidized flights on this route is set at 20,000 tenge (US$38) for a single trip.

Travelers looking to fly between Astana and Turkistan can do so on Mondays and Wednesdays, with one-way tickets priced at 17,000 tenge (US$32.33).

It’s worth noting that children under the age of 14 are eligible for a 50% discount when purchasing tickets for these subsidized flights, as per the information provided by the ministry.

These subsidized flights aim to improve connectivity and accessibility between different regions in Kazakhstan, making travel more affordable and convenient for residents and visitors alike.
