Closing Ceremony of Teknofest TRNC Celebrates Technological Innovation
Under the patronage of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Presidency, the closing and award ceremony of Teknofest TRNC took place at the former Ercan Airport. This significant event was organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with TRT as a key stakeholder.
During the ceremony, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, a prominent speaker, expressed his admiration for the enthusiastic participation of the Turkish Cypriot community in the event. He highlighted that Teknofest symbolizes the synergy between history, science, and technology, infused with a spirit of tremendous enthusiasm.
"In these lands that have been nurtured by the sacrifices of our martyrs, we reaffirm to the world that the Turkish Cypriot people are not mere passengers or guests," Kacır stated. He emphasized pride in the capabilities of Turkish engineers and technicians, noting their influence on technological advancements worldwide.
“Together Towards Our Goals”
Kacır also commended the young innovators from TRNC and beyond who showcased their projects at Teknofest. He asserted his confidence in the potential of the youth in these lands, stating, "Our desire is for the enthusiasm of Teknofest, a symbol of the rise of the Turkish nation, to thrive in the TRNC. We will pursue these goals together."

Emphasizing collaboration, Kacır pledged to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Turkish Cypriot people to elevate the TRNC to its rightful place on the global stage. He described the "National Technology Ham" initiative as a mobilization of spirit and innovation.
In closing, Kacır extended his heartfelt congratulations to the youth, the true heroes of the National Technology movement, who participated in the Teknofest competitions. He also acknowledged the support from families and educators, declaring, "From the North, our homeland echoes the sentiments of ‘Long live Turkey,’ ‘Long live our sovereignty.’"
As Teknofest TRNC ends, the commitment to fostering technological excellence and innovation continues, heralding a bright future for the youth of Northern Cyprus.
