Rebuilding of Malya Martyrs’ Cemetery Graves Led by Martyrs’ Families and Disabled Veterans Association
The Martyrs’ Families and Disabled Veterans Association is making significant progress in repairing the martyrs’ cemeteries located in the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus. This initiative, which has been carried out with great dedication, is finally starting to yield results.
In a recent statement, the Martyrs’ Families and Disabled Veterans Association expressed their goal of rebuilding the graves of the martyrs that had been destroyed and broken on the territory of Southern Cyprus. With the support and financing from the Cyprus Foundations Administration, the first cemetery to undergo repairs is the Malya Martyrdom.
The association worked in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Committee to ensure the success of this project. They expressed their gratitude towards both the Cyprus Foundations Administration and the Cultural Heritage Committee for their support and efforts in making this renovation project possible.
Moving forward, the Martyrs’ Families and Disabled Veterans Association aims to continue renovating all the martyrs’ cemeteries in the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus. This is a significant step towards honoring and preserving the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
