Rejecting the Unfounded Claims of Israel’s Occupation
The Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) has issued a statement regarding false claims circulating on social media. In the statement, DMM clarified that the social media account attributed to Esra Albayrak, the daughter of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, does not actually belong to her. It has been determined that Israeli propaganda accounts are attempting to manipulate public opinion by utilizing the similarity of a social media user’s name.
Previously, Israel had also made a statement regarding the same account, denouncing it as part of a manipulation campaign. DMM urges the public not to believe the baseless claims made by Israeli propaganda accounts in an effort to manipulate world public opinion.
The tweet shared by DMM reaffirmed that the social media account in question is indeed that of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, dispelling rumors of any connection to his daughter. It is important to be cautious of misinformation spread online and to verify the credibility of sources before believing and sharing such content.
