TOL and DTB Women Fans Group Commemorate Deniz Nasıfoğlu with ‘Play For Hope’ Organization
A special event was organized by the TOL and DTB Women Fans Group to honor the memory of Deniz Nasıfoğlu, who tragically passed away at a young age due to cancer. The event, titled ‘Play For Hope’, aimed to celebrate Deniz’s courageous fight against the disease and raise awareness about cancer.
The event was made possible with the support of Girne Municipality, Sunstone Realty, Mediterranean Sports Union, and Darts Federation. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Oncology Hospital to support cancer research and treatment.
Held at Karaoğlanoğlu Antis Beach, the organization featured various activities including football, backgammon, and darts tournaments. Attendees also enjoyed performances by the GENÇSAD Folklore Team, Cyprus children’s games, paddle competitions, and live music acts.
Notable performances were given by the Niyal Öztürk Band and Erce Güner, complemented by DJ sets and food and beverage stalls for guests to enjoy. The event, which took place from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, provided a platform for the community to come together in support of a meaningful cause.
The ‘Play For Hope’ organization not only honored Deniz Nasıfoğlu’s memory but also highlighted the importance of solidarity and raising awareness about cancer. Through events like these, the community can come together to make a positive impact on those affected by the disease.
