Renowned Turkish journalist Nazım Beratlı dies at BRTK
Nazım Beratlı, a well-known lecturer, programmer, poet, writer, and physician at Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation, has passed away at the age of 72. The news of his passing has left the BRT family and the community in mourning.
Born in 1952 in Lefke, Cyprus, Nazım Beratlı had a diverse and accomplished career. After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1979, he worked as a general practitioner in Cyprus for three years. He later completed his specialization training in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Ankara Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Gynecology Hospital in 1986 before returning to Cyprus.
Throughout his life, Nazım Beratlı also pursued a passion for writing and poetry. During his time as a higher education student in Istanbul, he continued to write and publish columns in various newspapers. In addition to his published works, he was known for his literary contributions and research in the field.
