Repeat Offender: 27-Year-Old Suspect Caught with 78 Criminal Records
Provincial Gendarmerie Command Teams Apprehend Multiple Criminals at Anatolian Highway Rest Stop
In a recent operation, Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams conducted identity checks at a rest facility in Üçköprü location, Kaynaşlı crossing of the Anatolian Highway. The operation resulted in the apprehension of multiple individuals with extensive criminal records.
One individual, identified as M.Ç., was found to have 78 criminal records in various provinces for the crime of “fraud by using information systems, banks or credit institutions as a tool.” Additionally, another person with 40 wanted records and a 15-year prison sentence for the same crime was also caught during the operation.
Following the identification of these individuals, M.C. was promptly delivered to the prison after the necessary legal proceedings at the judicial authorities.
