Upon arrival, the Coast Guard team successfully rescued 29 irregular migrants, including 10 children, from the stranded rubber boat. Additionally, another 18 irregular migrants, including 6 children, were apprehended on a fiber-hulled rubber boat intercepted by the Coast Guard boat in the same area.

The rescued migrants were subsequently handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Immigration Management for further processing. Incidents like these serve as a reminder of the risks faced by irregular migrants attempting dangerous sea crossings in pursuit of a better life.
