Rescue Teams Transport 4 Patients from Snow-Blocked Villages to Hospital in Yüksekova
The heavy snowfall in the district has caused difficulties for residents, particularly those in remote villages. Four individuals in Çobanpınar, Gürdere, Kazan, and Bağdaş villages fell ill, but due to road closures caused by the snow and blizzard, their families were unable to transport them to the hospital. In a bid to assist, these families reached out to the 112 Emergency Call Center for help.
Following the distress calls, health officials were dispatched to the villages. With the aid of the snow-fighting teams from the Special Provincial Administration Yüksekova Construction Site, the roads were cleared, allowing the medical personnel to reach the patients. The individuals received necessary first aid on site before being transported to the hospital in ambulances.
In addition to assisting with medical emergencies, the snow-fighting teams also worked tirelessly to clear the closed village roads in the district, ensuring that residents have safe and accessible routes. Their efforts have been crucial in ensuring the well-being of individuals affected by the heavy snowfall.
