Tragic Fire Claims Lives of Mother and Daughter in Izmir Hotel
A devastating fire at a hotel in Izmir has resulted in the loss of lives of a mother and her daughter. The victims have been identified as Kübra Tonguç Altın and her daughter Alya Altın, a 4th grade student.
Hilmi Altın, the husband of Kübra and father of Alya, was also at the hotel at the time of the fire and sustained injuries. He was quickly taken to the hospital for treatment.
Alya, who tragically lost her life in the fire, was a 4th grade student at a private school in Izmir. Her mother, Kübra Tonguç Altın, was a highly educated individual who graduated from the Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Pediatric Dentistry doctoral program. She also held the title of Doctor Lecturer at the same university.
It has been revealed that the family hails from the Soma district of Manisa. The entire community is mourning the loss of these two cherished individuals and expressing their condolences to the grieving family.
