Reviewing Budgets of Court of Accounts, Ombudsman, and Foreign Affairs Ministry
The Republic Assembly Economy, Finance, Budget and Plan Committee is currently in discussions regarding the 2024 budget. Today’s agenda includes the budgets of the Court of Accounts, the Supreme Government Auditor (Ombudsman), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Turkish Agency Cyprus (TAK) affiliated with the Ministry.
The meeting began with the budget of the Court of Accounts, which amounts to 99 million 114 thousand 700 TL. It will then proceed with the High Management Auditor (Ombudsman) budget of 22 million 727 thousand 500 TL, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs budget of 588 million 99 thousand 400 TL, and finally, the TAK budget.
These budget discussions started on November 8 and are scheduled to be completed with the discussion of the Finance budget on November 30.
The assembly continues to focus on the financial planning and allocation for the year 2024, ensuring that each sector’s budget is meticulously reviewed and debated for the benefit of the country.
