Revised Draft Laws on Money and Acceptance Presented to General Assembly – BRTK
The Parliament of the Republic recently held a meeting to discuss the “Money and Cambiation Law” with two proposed amendments. The economy, finance, budget, and plan committee, chaired by UBP Deputy Official Eroğlu Canaltay, convened to review the proposed changes. The meeting, which started at 10:00, saw the participation of committee members Hasan Küçük and Alişan Şan from UBP, as well as CTP Deputy Salahi Şahiner.
Additionally, representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Money, Cambiation, Development Fund Works, and the Jewelers and Jewelers Association were also present at the meeting to share their insights on the proposed amendments. After thorough discussions, the committee unanimously approved the combined amendments, which will now be referred to the general assembly for further consideration.
