Hungary has recently welcomed its first and Central Europe’s largest virtual production studio complex, United Illusions, located in Fótliget near Budapest. This cutting-edge facility is set to transform filmmaking in the region and draw international productions to Hungary.
Director Zoltán Simon describes United Illusions Virtual Production Studio as having impressive technical specifications, including a 28-meter wide, 6-meter high ultra-modern ROE LED wall, additional movable elements, and a large studio space optimized for virtual productions. With ARRI technical support and certification, the studio ensures the highest quality standards.
The advanced setup at United Illusions allows for the creation of unique virtual environments without the need for green screens, providing actors with realistic surroundings to enhance their performances.
The studio aims to position itself as a top destination for international filmmakers and has already made appearances at major industry events such as the American Film Market and Location Expo in Las Vegas and FOCUS London film trade fair. Collaborating with the renowned Origo Studio further enhances United Illusions’ appeal to global productions.
