Rising Carbon Levels Impacting Oceans and Marine Life – BRTK
A seminar titled “Ecosystem Engineers Sea Meadows” was recently held by the Eastern Mediterranean University, Cypriot Wetland Community, Nature Friends Group, and Social Existence Association. The seminar was conducted by Biologist and Marine Sciences Specialist Dr. Burak Ali Çiçek.
During the seminar, Dr. Çiçek emphasized the importance of biodiversity on the shores and how human activity impacts the natural environment. He highlighted the need for mapping work areas and discussed the material implications of such studies. Additionally, Dr. Çiçek pointed out the increase in carbon emissions affecting the seas and marine life negatively.
The seminar provided valuable insight into the delicate balance of ecosystems and the importance of preserving nature for future generations. Attendees were encouraged to consider their impact on the environment and take steps to protect and conserve marine habitats.
