Road Closures in Istanbul on August 30
Roads Closed for Istanbul 30th August Celebration
The Governor’s Office has announced that certain roads and alternative routes will be closed to traffic on Vatan Street in Istanbul on Friday, August 30th. These closures are necessary due to the celebration ceremony and ceremonial parade that will take place on that day.
From 06:00 until the end of the program, the following roads will be closed to traffic:
– Adnan Menderes Boulevard (Vatan Street) departures and arrivals
– Edirnekapı, D100 north and south directions
– 10. Yıl, Oğuzhan, Sofular, Halıcılar, Akdeniz, Akşemsettin, and Ordu streets
– Atatürk Boulevard
– Keçeci Meydan Street
– Hal Yolu entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from the south
– All streets and avenues leading to Adnan Menderes Boulevard
– Tatlıpınar, Kaleboyu, and Sulukule streets joining Vatan Street
To ease traffic congestion caused by these closures, drivers are advised to use alternative routes such as Turgut Özal Millet Street, Fevzipaşa Street, Atatürk Boulevard, D 100 highway, and O-3 Hal Road.
