Road Closures in Istanbul Tomorrow
Roads in Istanbul to be Closed for International Cycling Race and Republic Day Celebrations
The Governorship of Istanbul has announced that several roads in Istanbul will be closed to traffic tomorrow for the rehearsal and ceremony day of the “Tour de France, L’etape By Tour de France International Cycling Race” and the “101st Anniversary Activities of the 29 October Republic Day.”
The following roads will be closed from 06.00 to 14.00 due to the bicycle race:
– Küçüksu Street
– Cuma Yolu Street
– Körfez Street
– Mehmet Ali Birand Street
– Okul Street
– Fatih Sultan Mehmet Street
– And more
Citizens are advised to use alternative routes such as Kandilli İskele Street, Dereboyu Street, and Dedeoğlu Street during the road closures.
In addition, some roads will be closed for the race from 08.00 until the end of the program, including TEM Highway Güney Maslak junction and TEM Kuzey Kavacık junction.
For Republic Day celebrations, Adnan Menderes Boulevard (Vatan Street) and all roads leading to it will be closed to traffic until the end of the rehearsal and program on October 29th. Vehicles parked on these roads will be removed starting from 22.00 today.
Citizens can use Turgut Özal Boulevard (Millet Street) and Fevzipaşa Street as alternative routes. Stay informed and plan your travel accordingly to avoid any inconvenience during these road closures.
