Road Maintenance and Repair Works Ongoing in Cyprus
Road maintenance and repair works are currently underway in the section between Haspolat junction of Nicosia-Famagusta Road and Türkeli junction of Nicosia-Güzelyurt Road in Cyprus.
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has announced that as part of a project tendered by the Highways Department, the damaged asphalt in the busiest parts of the main artery connecting the east and west of the country will be eroded and patch work will be carried out.
A total of 1,300 tons of asphalt will be used for the works, which are expected to be completed within a month. This project aims to improve the condition of the roads and ensure the safety of drivers using these important routes.
