Road Paving to Begin on Ziyamet-Avtepe Route Tomorrow, Says Highways Department
Asphalt Paving Work on Ziyamet- Avtepe Road Route to Start Tomorrow
The Highways Department has announced that asphalt paving work will begin tomorrow on the road route between Ziyamet and Avtepe. The work is expected to last until November 28, and during this time, traffic flow will be provided through the village roads of the existing route.
In a written statement, the Directorate of Highways Department emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of drivers who will use this route. They urged motorists to drive carefully and slowly, and to obey traffic signs and signals.
The paving work is part of the “Construction, Repair and Superstructure Reinforcement Works of Various 3rd Class Roads and Possible Settlements Internal Transportation Roads” within the scope of the TRNC Highways Master Plan.
Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly and to use alternate routes if possible to avoid delays. It is crucial for all drivers to follow the instructions and warnings provided by the authorities during the construction period to ensure everyone’s safety on the road.
