Governor Balitskiy of the Zaporozhye region in Ukraine has announced the evacuation of civilians in 18 settlements close to the front line due to increased attacks by Ukraine. The priority for evacuation will be given to women, children, the elderly, and the disabled. The settlements to be evacuated include Timoshovka, Smirnovka, Tarasovka, Orlyanskoye, Molochansk, Kuibyshevo, Prishib, Tokmak, Malaya Belozerka, Vasilyevka, Velikaya Belozerka, Dneprorudnoe, Mikhailovka, Kamenka-Dneprovskaya, Energodar, Pologi, Konski, and Rozovka.

Governor Balitskiy has emphasized that the needs of evacuated civilians will be met, and the government will provide a budget for public transport, accommodation, and food. He stressed that the evacuation is necessary to ensure the safety of those living in the frontline areas as criminals in Kiev are targeting civilian infrastructure.

In a separate statement, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions in eastern Ukraine were annexed, and these regions are now Russian territory. The situation in Ukraine remains tense, with both sides blaming each other for the recent escalation of violence.
