Ryanair to Launch New Budapest-Liverpool Route

Ryanair will start operating flights between Budapest and Liverpool twice a week starting on October 28, according to a report by Airportal.hu.

The Irish low-cost airline’s booking system shows that flights between the Hungarian capital and Liverpool will be available on Mondays and Saturdays as part of the winter timetable.

Flights on Mondays are scheduled to depart from Budapest at 2:55 p.m. and arrive in Liverpool at 4:45 p.m. The return flight will leave Liverpool at 5:10 p.m. and land back in Budapest at 8:50 p.m.

On Saturdays, the flights will operate 40 minutes later than the Monday schedule.

These new routes by Ryanair will directly compete with Wizz Air’s Liverpool service, which also operates twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays based on the airline’s booking system for the upcoming 2024/25 winter schedule.
