Saadet Party accused of exploiting CHP votes by sharing similar name

The Nation Alliance, made up of the DEVA Party, Future Party, Felicity Party, and Democrat Party, have removed 38 deputies from the CHP lists. As a result, the CHP will be represented with less than the number of deputies in the previous term, at 131. Although reactions have been expressed to the headquarters management due to this situation, old and new CHP members criticized this situation, while attention-grabbing statements were made. Ümit Çebi, a member of the General Administrative Board of the Felicity Party, thanked Temel Karamollaoğlu for allowing representation of their party in the Parliament with 10 deputies, despite receiving “minus one percent” votes. Future Party’s Ahmet Davutoğlu shared a photo with the names of his party members who entered the Parliament and deleted it after receiving backlash. Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan, who was temporarily expelled from the CHP, accused the two parties entering the election from the CHP lists of exploiting CHP votes and making fun of the situation without shame. Özcan also criticized Davutoğlu for winning a parliamentary seat without getting any votes.
