Guards in Bağcılar Seriously Injured in Attack, Suspects in Custody
A tragic incident occurred in Bağcılar, Istanbul, as guards attempted to control four suspects. The guards were trying to stop the suspects when a fire broke out, resulting in the serious injury of Uğur Gölçek. Despite receiving treatment at a private hospital, Gölçek tragically passed away.
The suspects involved in the attack managed to flee the scene initially but were later apprehended. The Public Security Branch Directorate of Murder Bureau Office is currently conducting proceedings regarding the suspects.
The attack took place on 2177 Street in the century neighborhood during the night. The guards were performing a routine identity check when the incident occurred. Gölçek was immediately attended to and taken to the hospital for further treatment, but unfortunately, his injuries proved to be fatal.
