Samsun Municipality Building Fire Put Out
A fire broke out in the basement of Tekkeköy Municipality, located in Samsun, Turkey. The fire is believed to have been caused by the power supply connected to the computers storing important documents and archive records.
As soon as the fire was noticed, the fire brigade, police, and medical teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, but unfortunately, damage was done to the document archive room.
Following the incident, Tekkeköy District Police Department teams conducted an inspection of the municipality building to assess the extent of the damage caused by the fire.
