Samsunspor’s Gisdol Focused on Winning Every Match
Yılport Samsunspor’s coach, Markus Gisdol, is gearing up for an intense month of January, with the team scheduled to play 7 matches. Speaking at a press conference alongside football director Fuat Çapa, Gisdol emphasized the need for thorough preparation for the upcoming matches, especially given the challenges posed by the absence of players participating in the African Cup.
“We need to be very smart in this period, especially as we have to play many games one after another in a short time,” said Gisdol. He also highlighted the need to learn from their previous match against Corendon Alanyaspor and address the injury concerns in the team.
Gisdol acknowledged that a point received in a poorly played match, like the one against TÜMOSAN Konyaspor, can still be valuable. He emphasized the importance of securing points from every match, whether it be one or three points, and expressed the team’s determination to win every game they play.
Football director Fuat Çapa provided updates on the team’s injured players, including Mickael Tırpan, who is on a medical leave due to his wife’s illness, and the uncertainty surrounding the status of Zeki Yavru and Marc Bola. Additionally, Çapa confirmed that loaned players will not be returning to the team during the break.
