Savaşan: Upholding Human Rights for Coexistense
President of the World Health Tourism Council, Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, spoke out about the increasing human rights violations due to brutal wars and unequal development in a recent statement. He emphasized the need for a stronger approach towards respect for human rights in order to foster greater opportunities for people of different cultures to live together harmoniously. Savaşan also condemned the alarming human rights violations that have been unfolding in recent years, particularly citing the devastating events in Gaza as a prime example.
According to Savaşan, the ongoing war in Gaza constitutes a severe violation of human rights as it has resulted in the indiscriminate killing and destruction of the region, including the loss of innocent lives. He called attention to the inability of world powers to put an end to such brutal conflicts, stressing that it is imperative for the international community to act swiftly in order to stop such atrocities. Savaşan remarked that the persistence of such human rights violations and violent conflicts could have long-lasting repercussions, making it increasingly difficult for people to coexist peacefully in the future.
