School Orientation Program Starts Tomorrow
Orientation Training for Pre-School and First Grade Students in the 2024-2025 Academic Year
As the new academic year approaches, schools are gearing up to welcome students who will begin pre-school education and first grade in the 2024-2025 academic year. Orientation training will be held from September 2-6 to help students transition smoothly into their new school environment.
Starting tomorrow, students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their schools, meet their teachers, and make new friends as part of the orientation program. This will help ease any anxieties and ensure a positive start to the school year.
The official start date for the new academic year for all classes and levels is set for Monday, September 9th. For parents whose children may have difficulty separating during the adaptation process, experts recommend waiting in the school yard rather than the classroom and engaging in conversations about school to provide reassurance and support.
According to the “2024-2025 Academic Year Work Calendar” circular, teachers will begin their professional work on Monday, September 2. The first term will commence on Monday, September 9, 2024, and conclude on Friday, January 17, 2025, with a mid-term break scheduled for November 11-15, 2024.
The mid-term break for the first term will begin on Monday, January 20, 2025, and end on Friday, January 31, 2025. The second term will kick off on Monday, February 3, 2025, and conclude on Friday, June 20, 2025, with a mid-term break from March 31 to April 4, 2025.
