School Yard Collapse in Rize: Training Suspended
In a recent announcement by the Directorate of National Education, it was revealed that the Ortapazar Secondary School in Rize, located next to the Sahur Creek, has experienced further structural issues. The State Hydraulic Works 224. Rize Branch Directorate reported that due to ongoing ground movements, the school yard and surrounding walls have shifted once again.
Technical teams from both the Directorate of National Education and State Hydraulic Works 224. Rize Branch Directorate conducted investigations on the field to assess the situation. As a result, it was determined that the continued ground movements have posed a significant risk to the safety of the school premises.
