Second Police Public Run Successfully Held
The second edition of the “Police Public Run” took place as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations of the police organization and the “Police Week” festivities. The event included a 10 km city run, a 3 km public run, and a 1 km children’s run, all organized by the General Directorate of Police and inaugurated by General Director of Police Kasim Kuni.
For the first time, a 1 km children’s run was included in the event, in collaboration with the Athletics Federation. Following the races, Gymnastics Federation athletes put on a dazzling gymnastics show for the participants.
A special playground was set up in the grass garden of the General Directorate of Police for children to enjoy. The award ceremony for the 10 km city run, featuring 11 categories, was graced by the presence of General Director of Police Kasım Kuni, Deputy PGM Ali Adalıer, PGM II Deputy Kaan Resa Saçar, District and PGM-Department Managers, officials from the Athletics Federation, and Gymnastics Federation President Hasan Sapsızoğlu.
To conclude the event, a plaque of appreciation was presented to the sponsors whose contributions made the successful execution of the race possible. The “Police Public Run” continues to be a popular and engaging event that promotes health, fitness, and community spirit among participants.
